Handmade Vegan Purses for Women
We consciously design timeless pieces, which transcend the seasons. We want you to enjoy your handbag for as long as possible, and by making seasonless styles, we support the movement against fast-fashion. This slow fashion approach also aims to reduce waste, and reduce our use of the planets natural resources.
Our materials and craftsmanship techniques are intentional to further ensure longevity.
Our range of handbags are made using a high quality faux leather from Italy. the composition of the materials is 51% polyester, which is the base of the material and 49% PU (Polyurethane), the grained and durable surface of the material. We source this material from company who have accreditations for quality, health and safety and environmental safety. The material complies with Regulation (EC) no. 1907/2006 concerning the registration, evaluation, authorization and restriction of REACH chemicals. You can read more them here.
The lining we use has been made from 100%, post consumer plastic bottles. It is soft and strong like polyester, but unlike virgin polyester, recycled PET fabric has a significantly lower impact on the environment. It uses 94% less water, 60 less energy and 32% less CO2 to manufacture.
Caring for your new purse could not be easier.
The surface of the material can be wiped clean with a clean, damp cloth. There is no need to use any chemicals and we strongly advise against using any chemicals or bleaches.
As with any materials, including leather, you are advised not to store your purse in direct sunlight, as this can cause discolouration.
Note: Purses are designed to hold a sensible load. Overloading your purse may cause premature wear and tear.
