Handmade Cork Belts

About the collection

Looking for a natural looking belt? Then a cork belt could be for you. Our collection of vegan cork belts are for people who want to make a difference by choosing a green, more eco-friendly product.

Handmade in a traditional three-piece construction, these classic cork belts are made in exactly the same way as an animal skin belt, but 100% cruelty free and vegan.

Each belt has three layers, a base of PU, a lining, and a top layer of hard-wearing natural cork leather. All three materials have been bonded and stitched for extra durability.

All our cork belts are gender neutral and available in two sizes.  Made in Portugal.

About cork leather

Cork leather is a sustainable material made from the bark of the cork oak tree. Cork oak is unique in its ability to regenerate its outer bark. After a tree reaches 25 years of age, it can be stripped of its cork once every 9-12 years without causing damage to the tree.

As a fabric, cork is durable and retains its natural look and feel.  This material is environmentally friendly, hypoallergenic, water resistant and stain resistant as well as easily cleaned and long lasting.

All these qualities make it a perfect alternative to leather.

How to measure for your belt

How do I measure my belt size? It’s a question we get asked a lot, so we have provided this useful diagram so you can work out your existing size before selecting your new vegan belt.

Measure between point A (the end of the belt, not including the buckle) and point B, where you normally where your belt. This will give you your belt size.

If you are experiencing any trouble deciding which size your belt should be, feel free to contact us and we will do our best to assist you.
